Noise?

Well it sure looks like a neat and tidy install and I know K&N makes a nice filter. I use K&N on my quad and I'm very happy with it. This being an open filter how much louder is it that the stocker?

To answer a few questions. It's so new they are using said they are going to use my photos on their web site. Yes I think a phone call would get you set up pretty quick, talk to Rob. As far a how much louder than stock? Well I have not run stock for the past 10 months and the truck is 11 months old, so I don't remember too well. I will say it's not anoying to me at all and I spend 6-8 hrs + in my truch everyday, sometimes cruise locked for hours. Don't forget what I stated eariler up in this post. OIL Filter access will require removal of the elbow. I don't know if that's the case with the AFE Mega Cannon.

Since the AFE Mega Cannon uses the stock elbow, it doesn't have to be removed to change the oil filter. However, removing it does make changing the filter easier.



By the way, I really like the increased turbo sound I got when I installed the Mega Cannon. Much more distinct than stock.

cullyguy, I think I have a K&N sock for that filter if you want, it's yours. email me with the size of that filter and an address and I'll send it to ya if you want it. I got it by mistake, I ordered a 25-0880 and got this one. Let me know.
