K & N RE-0880 & 25-0880 hookup?

I just ordered both of the following K & N filters (RE-0880 & 25-0880). Now the question is how do I hook them up? I have seen it mentioned you need a piece of 4" pipe. What kind, how long, and how do I use it?

Any help you guys can give is appreciated + if you have any pictures that would be great. Thanks,

All you need is a piece of 4" exhaust pipe or even PVC about 2" long. What you do is remove the hose clamp on the K&N and put the piece of 4" pipe inside the rubber collar on the filter. Then, slip the Hose from the turbo over the outside of K&N where the hose clamp used to be and tighten it up. It may sound confusing how i am describing it, but once you get the filter, you will see what i mean. If you need it, ill send you a pic.

Jetpilot I used a 3" PVC union it worked for me just take a look #ad

I did as Oasis-3 did, but added a "cradle" made from a piece of 3/4 inch strap mettal, which I achored to existing bolts for the original air box.
