Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) K+n Re-0880

Has anybody that is running a K+N RE-880 cone air filter have trouble with it collasping under a hard acceleration? I can see in the middle of the air filter where it has been wrinkling the filter material, which makes me think that it doesn't flow enough air for me. I need some thoughts on this situation? I am thinking more and more about Scotty II air setup.

I 2nd your opinion. you need more airflow.

I am using a 0880 in a Scotty with the firewall cut. No wrinkles or collapsing . I had the same question on airflow, so questioned PDR about a Scotty II. For me, there would not be enough gain to justify the change.

I have been running the RE-0880 for several years with no ill effects, including twin turbos.

The only thing I have been pondering is a way to pipe for cooler air.
