That's what I bought. I ended up going back and buying the "mini-packs" too. I've had it for almost two years now. Couldn't be happier with it. Let me know if you have any other questions.

I have a set of Coil Spring Compressers KORE said I dont need them ... Is that true ?

Does it ride smoother ??

I didnt have the $$$ to complete the PACE System right now so I just got the Front , Did everything seem stable W/O the rear Half of the PACE system ??

FYI- KORE dont list this kit for the 2nd gen trucks you will have to call them

Thanks for any help

Been thinking about this for some time. I'll be watching this thread. What did Kore have to say bout just using the front stuff without the rear? Are those shocks the Bilstein 5100's?

What did that front set cost you? I don't know if its different for my 97 3500 1 ton.

The KORE HD LEVELING KIT raises the front of your truck enough to fit 315/70/17 tires. This kit uses the legendary Bilstein 5100 Series shock.

- 2. 0 - 2. 5 inches of lift in front

- Different coils for Standard, Quad and Mega

Cabs, both Diesel and Hemi

- Rear leaf springs unchanged

- Retains OE driveline and steering geometry

- Unparalleled highway ride

- Can be set back to stock

- No cutting, drilling or welding

- Fast, simple installation

- Warranted for life

it cost me $620 shipped to the door , Yes its fine with out the rear done , This is a leveling kit it just so happens to be 1/2 the Pace system , Ill most likly upgrade the rear in the future it will be approx $900 to do the rear ... Call and talk to HER shes great and could probly sell a snow ball to an eskimo ... LOL she will go into great detail about the kit . ,... Ive called Once to get the price ,,,then Checked 15 other companies found on this list ...

Most of them told me to go to K. O. R. E. and the others didnt reply , So Thats what I did and it will be here in 5-10 days :)

Tho the install is suppose to be simple Im planning on doing an Install Guide ,,

Hey ask the Kore Lady 760. 749. 8687 why this kit is better than Spacer Blocks ... She lays it out plain and simple Im glad I Didnt go with the daystar after all.

Thanks For Answering my Questions

If your envolved with KORE Why are they cleaning house on the 2nd gen kits ,,,

Sara Mae Told me they dont sell much of them ... everyones getting the 3rd gen kits ... I think theres a ton of people that would be interested in this kit if they made it known that they even suppied parts ect for the 2nd gens IMO.

Right now I am also seeing the swing towards the 3rd gens in all areas, power upgrades as well . It is natural as the 2nd gens get older more money is being spent on newer models for the upgrades.

I have recently installed this kit and it is awesome Oo. My 02 has 102,xxx miles and the shocks were the factory units, so they shot. The new springs raised the the front to where the front is just . 25 inches lower than the rear. The ride is much improved, with the steering being much more predictable. I'll probably upgrade the rears when money becomesw available.

Greg at DRC was very helpfull and prompt with shipping.

Thanks for answering all my ????. I guess I'll talk to the KORE Lady :-laf :-laf . It looks like I'll start like you did... Uhum. . when I can convince my little lady :-{} its worth it  .

Let me know how it feels after the install. I just installed the OEM Bilsteins :{ ... geez... I guess I can try to sell them :( . Have maybe 5,000 miles on them.

Also got new stock BFG Ko's  . Will it ride OK with stock tires too?

I know they'll look wimpy with the lift :{ . When they need replacing I'll upgrade to larger size tires . Hopefully the KORE will work OK with my dually tires.

Thanks,

Dave
