This was the first meet I have been to. Personaly I thought there was a good turn out. I did not count but guessing 20 + trucks was there & I heard 18 was on the dyno list, but not sure. I Had a good time BS with several folks, untill I dynoed mine, 218 hp. I found out why I had a shortage of power. I was told my EZ was bad since that is the only mod I have done (so far).
i played softball in your town 2 years ago /..... on my way out there to duck hunt leaving ky thanksgiving... . thought it would be cool to quack with youall out that was my 2 favorite D's ducks and diesels
where exactly are ya goin to duck hunt? hutch does have a nice baseball/softball field. never played on it myself but they had a big baseball and softball tournament this summer.
not real sure yet travel all over the state ... . last year we spent most of our time in hayes..... this year ive read not much rain and lower lake levels so the places we hunted near hayes are low ... so we dont really know
We mostly hunted south of wichita but we got up around emporia a few times and it was some pretty good shootin. We about started using an antiaircraft gun my senior year, we'd hit the ducks and geese (knock alotta feathers off) and they wouldn't go down. I was usin 3" 2 shot and so was one of my buddies, the other one had 3 1/2" BBB. we'd see the feathers fly off and they'd just keep goin. And then if we did get em knocked down (espically the geese) would either swim away if they landed on the water or ran on the ground.
so u were probly huntin private land ? thats the luxery we dont have dont know any one out ther so every where we hunt are public hunting parks and lakes
yup mostly all private land. we stay away from public lakes and walk-in areas. never really had a good exprience w/ the other hunters around them. private land was gettin kinda scarce too, all the rich boys outta wichita would lease it up for 1 or 2 weekends a yr.
