Now how do you like that???? Loan a guy a piece of my equipment for free, turn him loose with not a string attached. Tell him to bring it back whenever he would like, even gave him an adapter cord so he would not have to buy batteries, now I owe him something? I guess I could have paid for his fuel to Salina and home. I think he should have saved 50 cents to buy me a soda. Are you planning to hold that GPSr as ransom or what?

Seriously, I think you will probably cost me money when I see that sweet machine you bought up and running. You will have to give me a ride and show it off to me.

Glen

Oo. Oo. Oo. Oo. Oo. Oo. Oo.

ggsoldan-

Keep an eye out on OneStackdRam- He'll have you spending ALL your money on your truck!

Saw your a cop in Salina, me too here in Douglas County, 2076 days till I retire, not that I'm counting!!

Did you know John Myers who used to work for the S. O. there? I worked with him in El Dorado before I came to Lawrence, always wondered what happened to him.

Robin

I did know John, he left and went to KHP I think. I am not sure where he is now. If I stay the required 32 years to max this program, I have about 4700 days left, or about 3328 working days minus 661 vacation and holidays would leave me roughly 2667 more days to pin a badge on my shirt. That is kind of depressing, I like your numbers better. :--)

One Stack has not got into my checkbook yet, but I am sure if I ever meet him, we will figure out a way to spend some money. This Dodge has to be the best and most fun of all the vehicles I ever owned, and that is a lot of vehicles!

My retirement numbers include all days, I have yet to deduct Vacation days.

I got my truck last Feb. and at first I was just gonna do some injectors, higher flow air filter, and exhaust and that was it.

But the next thing you know I found the TDR, hooked up with Floor It, now look at my signature... BUt, its all good!!! Went to Thunder in Muncie in June and had a BLAST!! You'll have to go next year.

If you haven't talked to John (FloorIt), and you plan on some mods, get with him. I think he is one of the up and comers in the diesel field right now.

Havent done much with the truck lately, got a Harley a while back, now spending some money on it getting it personalized. Bout got it where I want it, so then I'll do some more to the truck.

Used to have good times in Salina, I grew up in Newton and we drive to Salina to go to a club called the Lamplighter, I think it was called, to drink, dance and have fun. . That was back in the mid 70's.

Gotta get back to work... . Later. .

The Lamp, Jerry Pilcher and Danny Imler went there, got into a fight with a couple and broke out a handgun. They unloaded it, struck several people, none of whom were involved in the fight. If I remember right, one died. It was a wild place back then. Now it is a stripper club, the Wild Wild West. I have not been in there for years, it was a country western club last time I was there, Roper's. Not too long ago, gunfire erupted there again, a guy dating one of the dancers got a little jealous when she showed attention to one of the patrons. He follwed the would be out into the lot and opened fire. Grazed his shoulder and filled a Ford Explorer with bullet holes. What we do in the name of the mating game... Glen

Dont worry Robin I will get ahold of his check book soon enough. I think I will have to drag him to Johns, so that he and I can ruin another "uniformed" CTD owner..... Nothing like explaining the SCARRY numbers that can be reached. :D You should ask John about last friday night. We had that kid about ready welllll mmmm Ill put it this way he need personal quality time..... LOL

Got my Comp box back from him!!!

If you dont call me next time you come this way, I'm gonna stop saying nice things about you in these forums!

I'll call next time. Actually I didnt think we would be there that late. The original plan was to just pick the inj. up and sent my buddy on his way and the wife and I were gonna keep trucking to KC. But I shouldve known better... LOL.

Russell

Man surgery has gotton to me more than expected! I'm all swollen up,my nose ,face and all wrinkled up un-shaven and just plain butt ugly. The first thing robin said when he showed up and saw me was "What are you doing here Yogibear":D Sorry larry, had to do it. ;)

Hey Russell thanks for the kind words! I'm really not in this for the money, but for the fun and friendships that I can make. So I hope that alone will take me far in this buisness.

john

John Jr. , you better have a lot of fun, cause your not going to make any friends!! I can tell Robin didn't thump ya on the nose, so I'll have to do it myself next I see ya. Might even be more than a THUMP!! Then I'll hide your pain pills!:p See ya,

Larry

Hello Kansas TDR members

Just wanted to say Hi to all Kansas TDR members. I'm new to the TDR and am learning all sorts of new and interesting things. I wish I would have found the TDR in 2000 when I bought my first Cummins powered Dodge.

Paola! Home of the new court annex and the beautiful old courthouse. Have they decided what to do with the old building yet, or is it just sitting there deteriorating? That is an interesting part of the state with a load of history. I always enjoy visiting your part of the state. So far I have been able to smoke in and out of town without a visit by the local PO-PO! Welcome to the TDR. Glen

uuhhh..... GG... considering your career, you might define smoking in and out of town. I took it to mean- YOUR TRUCK!!!!
