Not really, we're hoping it will be warm enuff Sat to fire up the bikes and go to the ABATE motorcycle show in Topeka. Other than that been hibernating. .

I'll be around Tim, give me a call. If we could get a few together, we could meet at the Flying J in Salina. Any idea about what time you'll be thru here??

Larry

Probably late Saturday night or *early* Sunday morning. What-time depends on how long I sleep along the way, or how much time I kill at the Kanza Travel Center in Oklahoma. Who know's, maybe I'll run into some "Okie" TDR members there. ;)

Well, can't plan anything, so give me a call when you get going west on I-70 at Salina. Late Sat. is fine, but the "early" Sun. morn. bothers me a little!!!:p but I'll be there if I'm not on the road, see ya l8er.

Larry

Tim, I'm headed for Phoenix, maybe catch ya on your return trip. Keep me posted, I should be back Wed. or Thu. , gotta stop in Tucson, and Silver City, NM.

Larry

Ok fellow Kansasan's????? I am officially in the market for a new truck. However I am extremely picky (well sort of) I am looking for a 96-97 12v 2500 4x4. Thats about as picky as I am getting. I am hoping to find one I can trade my 3500 in on and save all my toys from it to put back into a 2500. I don't need the big truck anymore and would give anything to get out of the 10-12 mpg neighborhood. So if anyone spots one sitting for sale somewhere in this state or the surrouning ones if you let me know it would be a wonderful thing.

TIA

Hey, Yogi's back!

How was your trip?

Thanks for the heads up about the winter storm last weekend. I took the southern route, and when I got home and saw the weather map I was glad I did!

... and it was only 60 miles longer.

hey russell, if you save all your toys and put them on the new truck aren't you going to be back in the 10-12 range with the new truck?

still waiting on my tax return check... ... ... but that credit card keeps calling my name. lol

Hammersley is right on two counts, the OLD, and Martina!!:)

Glad I was able to help ya Tim. The trip to Phoenix was fine, but I spent Mon. night in Tucson with friends, and should have kept going. Tue. night going east out of Albeq. , it took me about 4hrs. to make 120mi. , snow was terrible, then rained hard from Tucem. all the way home. Headed for Middlebury, In. in the morn. L8er,

Larry

Well I will leave the Martina thing alone, not my cup of tea, I like country just not her brand, to each his own.

Nathan, I shouldn't be that bad on MPG with the fact I'll be shedding about 2k worth of weight, 2 less tires to hit the pavement, and with the cops around here I don't dare get on it too often. I figure (unless something is mechanically wrong with the truck) that I should get up into the 15-17 range maybe better if I drive like a decent human being... . LOL... WE ALL KNOW THAT CAN"T HAPPEN. . lol

Yogi, calling me a dumb fart, isn't that the pot calling the kettle black?... . LOL

Russell

OSR, if you like Country, and don't like Martina, what are you listening to!?!?! RAP, is not country!! I suppose you don' like Shania either??

Larry

you mean shania twat? i only listen to country... not that new pop/country crap thats out now. and im nopt saying that martina is a bad artist i just haven't liked many of her songs... ... ... . ok? ya old fart... ... .

Onestack

Did you know there are 2 kinds of music! Country & Western.

So have you found a truck yet? If the price was right I'd sell ya mine.
