Other then that all I could do was 13. 7 & 13. 8's. With the new turbo I have to relearn my launches. And my 3-4 shift is about 400 rpms too late! Don't have much power at 3550rpm

I confess to ordering a B1 myself and noticed in your post that you are shifting late. Is the B1 making as much HP at high rpm as your HX 40 did? Can you give a comparison of your other turbos and the B1, inquiring and impatient minds need to know . My HX 40/16cm equipped ISB pulls great until the ecm defuels... ... ... .

As far as the role cage rules go it depends on the track more than anything. For instance, last year before the Tulsa track went IHRA a friend of mine was running 10. 50s in a 93 Cobra with no roll cage or anything, just a helmet some nitrous and some slicks . But now the track is IHRA sanctioned and they are rather strict.



FYI IHRA cage rules is at 11. 50 and faster requires a 6pt roll bar. 9. 99 or 135mph requires a full cage.



NHRA requires a bar at 11. 99 and faster, a full cage is required at 10. 99 and faster.



Has anyone ever tried to read those damn IHRA/NHRA rulebooks before?? They are a PIA. There is many loopholes IMHO. For instance, the IHRA requires that all cars that require a rollcage have to have a window net. My car has a cage, but is not fast enough to require it so I don't have to have one. So there is no telling what the driveshaft loop rule is like when you start using 4wd .
