Katzkin Leather Seats

I don't know if anyone else has looked into having these put it but I had it done a while back and all I can say is AWESOME! The grade of leather is SO much higher than the stock leather and the fit and finish is perfect. I am extremely pleased with them. I had them do a two tone with charcoal and a color in the center that almost perfectly matches the factory "agate". They also did the door panel inserts. They also did the "Ram" logo stitching into the seat and I also had them do the agate color for the actual seam stitching to contrast and I'm very happy with how it all looks. They have large pockets behind the seats as well. It also feels a lot softer than factory leather and I was told that cracking wouldn't be a problem. I'll post some pics tomorrow when the sun comes up if anyone wants to see. The total cost was about 1200 for the front seats, center console, center seat, back seat and door inserts... installed. Being that the lame factory rainbow flake colors in the stock cloth seats was the only thing I hated about my truck, it was a great investment.

IO just met the man at the L. A. auto show and He quoted me $1200. 00 for the quad cab interior.

I've had mine for about a year now and I will never buy a car with leather/vinyl after seeing for myself the difference in quality from the Katzkin kits. Pictures are in my gallery if anyone is interested.

Wow, the seats look great, silverram03. And $1200 seems like a great deal for the full quad cab interior, too. So do you guys just get local shops to install this stuff, or does Katzkin do it, or what? Thanks.

I had it done at a place in Modesto. They are an authorized Katzkin dealer. They are listed on their website. They charged me like 1200 installed plus 60 extra I think for the Ram head logo stitching. Well worth the money. Install took two days. They ordered it, took like a week or so to get, I dropped off the truck and picked it up two days later.

And I concur completely with silverram03. The quality difference is amazing! The factory leather feels like plastic compared. Also, factory leather means a lot of vinyl (entire rear seats) and the Katzkin is ALL leather.

I have thought of doing this on my 95, just have to get the $$$$$ saved up. Did you guys get the seat heaters also? BTW they look great.
