those guys cant take any crap at all can they ! my service truck is 04 6. 0 f450 and at 10. 000 mi the injectors started filling the crank case . ford said that is normal :--) and they fixed it for about two weeks and then it did it again . also the second time i took it in the planetary gear went through the side of the case of the trans . and ford only wanted them to get me a new case . and put the old parts that had ben running in contamination for how long . every ford that i have drove for a sirvice truck has had problums due to pulling tralors and heavy loads seems like dodge trucks and the cumminsI-6 motors dont seem to have any ishues like those junk ford 6. 0's. boy i like to get back into my old doger. after listining to that old -new junker. after a long week . plus i like that long tork curve of power that my 24 valve gives me.

KBR is like any other business, they are going to buy fleet vehicles from the lowest bid contractor, Ford. The only places I have seen them are in the Green Zone and at some of the big FOB's. And they don't get used for much other than odds and ends jobs and back transpo. vehicles for their employees so they don't have to, gasp , walk anywhere! I guess the M-998 and M-1114 HMMWV's just aren't good enough for them. And none of them have P. Strokes. Sometimes I wish they had, those 6. 5's are gutless. If the Navistar Diesels are so good, then why dosen't the U. S. Military use any of them in their vehicles? All of the old Duces and the LMTV's and new ten tons use I-6's. My M2-A2 uses a Cummins VT-903 V-8. Not great for pulling, but if it's RMP's you want, then RPM's you shall have! Opinions are like a**holes, we all have them! Every brand has a few lemons. If anyone stationed at Ft. Hood wants to talk diesel, I will be back by the end of the month. 6. 0's are better than a 5. 9 HAHAHAHAHAH :-laf Good one!!!
