Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) kdp dead

Well, I know this is getting old but another kdp bites the dust. I took my mechanic and myself 2 hours to do from start to finish. Awsome instrutions and tools. Thanks alot john and ifflem for keep the Jig moving and the ammended instrutions. Mine had not moved but everytime I drove it I could swear it sounded like it was comming out (someone had posted it sounded like someone raking a metal rod across a metal fence). Thanks to all involved. I can once again enjoy my awsome cummings diesel.

I hadn't heard of the noise it made when it was rolling around in the gears but the definition reminds me of that annoying/dreary sound of nails being dragged across a blackboard. #@$%!
