Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) KDP Jig

Hi All,

How would I go about obtaining the "lowner" KDP kit?

Is there a list that I would need to sign up on?



If anyone knows, please inform me.



The way my luck is going, I better take care of the KDP soon.

Where are you? You need to contact your loacal area jig keeper.

The Northeast jig has a very short waiting list. You have to be in the NE to use it. That's west, including Ohio and south, including West Virginia.

What is this all about? I'm about to pull mine apart to fix it before it kills my truck but wasn't aware of a jig... .

KDP

The jig is used to precicly locate and tap a hole in the case so a bolt can be installed to block the pin from comming out of the block. I just got my truck back from the shop after having the TST kit (tab) installed. I did not want to drill my case and wanted to know if the pin had moved or not. My pin was seated in it's original location but was tabbed. I feel better now knowing everything is secure. Good luck, Dave
