I can rest easier now. My new 97 KDP was killed today. There is now a KDP Jig kit in NM if people are interested. Now it is time for the goodies. What kind of gauges do you guys suggest?

Thanks

Russ:D

Depends on what you do to the engine. Egt 1st-mounted in ehaust manifold. Maybe boost presure next. This will give you a good idea of how much your engine is working at any given speed and is a good indicator if you lose power that you may or may not have a turbo/intercooler/connection problem. I also have trans (auto) temp and rear end temp also.

I am going to be advancing the timing to 15. 5, 4" exhaust, and an AFE megacanon. I am not looking for enormous emounts of power yet. I figure that I would go with a pyro and a boost gauge for the mean time. Is there a specific brand of gauges i need to look at.

Thanks

Russ

97 2500, 4x4, straight piped, KDP Killed. :)

Where in NM is the jig kit? I am in Albuq. and have been on the list for two mths. and would like to use the kit if it is near.

I am located in Los Alamos. So I guess that is where the kit would be. My brother and I bought it because we both own 97's and needed to do them. PM Me and we will work something out. It was really easy. All you have to do is follow the directions.

Russ

PS Hope this helps
