Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) KDP Repair Centers

Are there any independent shops around the Denver area that can repair the KDP problem? Rocky Mtn. Cummins wants $ 640 to fix the problem and that seems pricey to me. Cummins says it is a Dodge problem due to the de-tuning of the engine requested, causing increase vibration. I have 133 M on my '94 and this concerns me. THANKS

I think you were misquoted. It's no more than 5 hours to remove the front cover, install a new seal and gasket and tab the pin.



If you don't have the Drill/jig. I can't remember the Cummins part no. There is a recent bulletin out for the Cummins "tab. "
