Hi, Joe! Can anyone tell me what size, thread, and length bolt to buy? I read that the Factory bolt needs to be a wee bit longer to handle the dowel pin cover plates we fabricate. Thx.
I forgot that the bolt size wasn't in the instructions. I've tried to copy Joe's instructions to the hard drive to minipulate and add to them but no joy. That bolt size is what I used also, got it from Don M.
Thanks. We have it now. I am (almost) considering using a bolt from a Mazda I dismantled some years ago, but I think I'll use a new one. I'm cheap, but not to the point of saving $2 on a $10K engine.
BTW, I still have the forest green instrument cluster I kept from a 1974 AMC Hornet I dismantled two years ago.
KDP finish a few day ago, when I removed the gear cover, I find the KDP was out about a 1/2". Drive the KDP back flush and used the tab. The biggest pain in the a$$ was the vibration damper to remove. It's a good then I did the crankshaft seal was leaking. Thanks for your help Richard Ebel and Joe George.
