Pulled my tim. cover today to check my kdp (wasnt going to but I read MDW's post & figured might as well, my father was a heavy line mech. for over 13 years and has every tool you can think of, it only took me 20 min. to tear down.
Ohh my THE PIN WAS HANGING 5\16 OF AN INCH OUT !!!!
The only thing holding in in was the suction the oil was making around the KDP. I PULLED IT OUT WITH MY FINGERS!!!!

I just wanted to say thanks to illflem & MDW & everyone else for driving this point into the ground. ( CHECK YOUR KDP)
and again thanks Oo. Oo. (isnt tdr great)
By the way since I've got the cover off what should I set my timing at?
