This is a issue that needs looked at.



Remove the front coverm to do the KDP. Most everyone that has. Found loose bolts around the cam retainer. If these bolts fall out it will get real expensive.

Next time I am in las Vegas (end of the month) I can show you broken gear cases and other display items that I have photo'ed in the past for the magazine. I have found the dowel pin to be a problem and the bolts as well in the first gen Rams.

how about the 24V?

Only if it has the early style gear case, as far as the KDP is concered. Don't know on the case bolts.



I had to Loctite and tighten the bolts on my '97. Also had to reseat the pin. It was sticking out past the case about 1/16-1/8".
