If that IS possible with some of the newer fuels then I am all for it. But,... ... at present I have seen none of the diesel drag trucks at ANY of the DHRA events or at our local tracks here that are "smokeless" INCLUDING COMP'S "Dr. Performance/Predator Truck. " They have said in many of the magazine articles that the "Audi Diesel Powered V-10 5. 5 litre Race Car" that has run Lemans etc. is doing it. However, they say that car has diesel particulate traps, catalytic converters among other things and it is running a new fuel being developed by Shell that is derived from natural gas??? Maybe some of the members can comment on that.

My post there was not directed at Diesel Power, and I also was referring to all the Pro Mods, be they DHRA or the two NHRDA trucks( Bill Fletchers rig and my rig... . )
