Through all the internet talk, I give applause to both teams for running the first side by side diesel pro-mod race... ... .

No matter how fast or who got the win lite- Great job to both teams! !

How about a rematch??

So as it stands now Greg is the qwickest and Keating is the fastest??

Hey its about time Greg got that truck out to a diesel event- now lets talk of a rematch... .

Atlanta Dragway, September 9th. Keating will be here, Greg is working on it. We will have Nitro Funny Cars and NHRA Dodge Pro Stock cars here running too so our diesel hotrods will run on the same prepped surface. If the track conditions are good enough for those boys, our diesel buddies should do just fine.

Come on Greg, lets make this happen.

I think I may have heard of this McFly thing you speak of before... ... .

Aint it a place some like to place their thumb? ?:-laf :-laf

I think some can even talk through their McFly... ... ... :p

Just be sure to wipe your McFly well, after useage, or in a few short days things might be alittle discomforting. :{

Actually I let Keating stage last at his request , remember we were there to attempt to do the first side by side 8 second run at a great show put on by Dennis. This is also the reason we didn’t go to the track Friday night and get in so much needed testing, Dennis wanted the race to happen at his event, and not the night before.

I believe the ability to race for real, is the critical difference that I have been talking about with people like Sleddie for the last few years, a Diesel drag racing engine will go up instantly and hit a pro tree, a sled pulling engine while making incredible power will be nothing but a spectacle at best. This is a great example of rev gain at it’s best, the motor jumped from idle to 4400 rpm’s in half a second being fully loaded against the converter, and ready to launch. This is what it will take to run in the real world of drag racing. I will be running the truck in Super Gas at the mile high nationals in Denver, the week before the Cummins race there, maybe that race will become a NHRDA race soon, seems like this new group is listens to the racers , hopefully it will sped like wild fire , I will run at any of their races , look forward to running at more races like Dennis put on ,

Oo. YEEEEEEEEEE-HAAAAAAAAAAW !!!!!!

That means that The NHRDA will have 3 tube trucks runnin their races?

The Dr . Peformance truck and Greg Hogue

Bill Fletcher's Wild New truck

And my new ride- Bidniss Bros Race Team... ...

Oo. Oo. Oo.

SWEET!!

NHRDA is looking better and better each day! We are working hard to put together a 2007 series of scheduled events across the country!!

Maybe we can have an event where all the tube trucks can meet and battle it out!

The New World Order Outlaw Event??:-laf

And a with our branching out into the northeast and southeast things are gonna get HOT!!!

Join up at www.NHRDA.com And come be a part of the ACTION!

Jeff, "RACINDUALLIE” I would like commend you for working hard to provide great opportunities for people like yourself, Fletcher, Scott and Dustin Benz, and myself to race. There is a great need for an organization that will have the stability, and leadership to fill the void now there. I see the NHRDA as the catalyst to bringing diesel drag racing to the main stream. It is necessary to interact with NHRA and to have a symbiotic relationship, much as the GOOD GUYS SERIES or NMCA have matured under the umbrella of the organization that Wally conceived and unselfishly grew to today’s undisputed leader in drag racing. To race on the levels most of us dream about it will require major financing, this will be available with the main stream exposure , to broad demographics , thanks again for stepping up to the plate.

IRP Diesel Nationals is this weekend. I am shure keating will be there to race and run many 8. 90's, the question is will Comp461 show and run anything better than a 9. 44 or is Gene right and that is all its got. ;)

Judging from the data logger sheet I've happened to get ahold of - the dips and spikes show me that the Dr. P rig was on and off the throttle, And from the vids posted you can see they were BOTH scratchin for traction and it was a pedalfest:eek: ... ... I will be an interesting rematch if these two trucks meet again and are both able to get them slicks to bite and hold the tarmac..... :D

Greg my understanding is you are going to be running 'Heads up' against the Bentz Rail?? That should be cool ! ! The Quickest Truck vs. The Qwickest Rail ?? Hang on to your hats! Oo.

yep, its heads up, knowing that I will be running Dustin has made me get out the pratice tree , and "get a little more of the tree". I held hard on the line at Bowling Green , not wanting to go red, I beleive this combination will go . 010 to . 020 red , if I lean on it. I know we dont race data loggers , but that run was ugly . I would easly guessed a low 50 to a hi 40 . With some other adjustments on this new combination , I want rule out a 7 second pass.

Seven seconds COMP??? I'll believe that when I see it. :-laf IMO,... you are a LONG way from a run like that considering you went 9. 4 @ Beech Bend and before that your long ago "historic" run at Ennis of 8. 72.

Bring that truck of yours to Atlanta like "DavidTD" said and lets see if you can beat Keating again.

that 9. 40 was a little more then a half track, pass,

True we don't 'race' data loggers, but the stories they tell are not lies. ..... Greg, Can't wait to hear the numbers when that sucka maintains the hook for the full 1320 and you can keep your foot in it... .....
