2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission keeping batteries charged

I know this may sound silly but I wont be using my try alot and wanted to make sure that the batteries stayed charged. I am going to use battery tender. Do i need one for each battery I know it sounds silly but want to make sure there wasnt a special way to do both. battery tender makes a 2 bank charger. thats whatI plan to use .

Your batteries are connected in parallel. Connecting one battery trickle charger should be sufficient although the trickle charger will take a little longer to achieve full charge if the batteries are not fully charged initially.

Only one Battery Tender necessary. Like Harvey said the batteries are wired parallel. Now if you had an HDT with 4 or more batteries would need a different Battery Tender but still only one

Been doing this for years. I don't drive my truck enough so a battery tender on the drivers side does the trick.

ok thanks. I just put new batteries in and dont want them to die. Ill just install one.

Same unit I have and it works great.

I use the B T on my TT it has 4 6v batteries and I use the B T jr. If I let the batteries run down then it takes forever to charge them but when I return from a trip I park the TT and plug the BT jr in and no problem

I Battery Tender on mine and it works perfect.



As a matter of fact that 1 Battery Tender(its a 4 lead tender)covers both Harley's and both pick-ups without an issue.
