Not wanting to sound like a woman but,

does any body have any ideas how to keep cats off my truck it seems they like to dance on the hood and roof and slide down the windshield i lke animals but i like my new truck even more

Sprinkle ground cayenne pepper on the area. I would suggest the windshield, although when I have done it, it hasn't affected the paint. I clean it off each day and resprinkle at night. It takes a couple of times for them to get on it and lick their paws before they figure out where they picked it up, but over the years I have done it with 3 or 4 vehicles/cats..... quite successfully

There is a Ford commercial for their Sportka car that involves a cat death. I'd post a link but, since the video might offend someone, I'll instead just point you to snopes.com and tell you to search on SportKa and click on a link to the video there.

I live in the country and rodeo. Theres not much my truck doesn't see! If I keep the cats off, then it's everybody's dogs that pee on the wheels etc. I;ve had a few cats walking on the new truck but I can't see is where they have done anything to it. Maybe a paw print or two, but when washed it certainly hasn't done any permanant damage>... ??

Unfortunately, you have an `04. It's a violation of federal law to tamper with a cat once it is on your truck. :D

the cayenne pepper sounds like a good idea, or you can try opening a can of tuna fish, draining the water, refill with ethelyne glycol... ... ...

depends on the situation and your personality.

I wasn't going to mention it, but Anti-Freeze cats LOVE... only takes 1-2 DROPS to kill an adult cat. I absolutely do not advocate it, as it is a HORRIBLE way to die! It acts as a neuro toxin and at first they wobble, then they try and do stupid stuff like jump from roofs and they have no coordination so they break bones and keep on running like nothing happened. It's a very SLOW death. I witnessed it on a few occasions when the neighbor serviced his rigs and my moms cats paid a visit. THey LOVE the stuff right out of the bottle. It is sweet, etc. . but cruel and I am NOT an animal activist in any way shape or form. /

"Tie a pitbull to your truck with a long line. "

THEN, not only will the cats be taken care, yer wheels will also get regular "wash jobs"... :D

Don't do the pitbull thing... . I had my dog on the back of my truck and went to my friends place and his Golden retreivers wanted to get "closer" to my dog and scratched the crap out the one side of my bed! I wasn't to impressed!!!!! Luckily it just got the clear coat and buffed out.

For land sakes don't scare those cats off, those claws will do a number when they panic accelerate ! BTW I"d check out where they have been gaining traction to get up on the truck, thats where the scratches usually happen. Pepper is a proven way to deter them... ... ... ... ... ... .
