Keeping my 3rd gen!!! (for now...)

I was bitten by the new truck bug few months back. None of the "deals" worked out and I have now decided to keep my truck for a bit. The other thing is I have got a GT3782R finally heading my direction. I will be doing a Goerend transmission now, this summer. I would like to mod the truck to have it pull as well as a lightly modded 2012 and be quicker than say. . a new lightly modded DMAX. I have an older TST on the truck now as well as exhaust and AFE intake. Injectors seem obvious. Is it worth replacing the TST with a smarty?

I replaced my problem prone TST with a SmJr and don't have anywhere near the power which is fine by me. I like the simplicity and reliability factor better.
You would at least wan't one of the bigger Smartys and even then, I'm not sure it fuels as hard as the TST.

I really like my 3rd gen, and my Smarty Jr. It's enough power for me and keeps me out of trouble!
