well, I finally got my Skyjacker 5" box kit installed with the kelderman air bags and brackets. I had everything powdercoated silver to match the truck, except the sway bar lowering brackets, as I can't use them w/ my plow and will be getting extended links in the future.

Haven't driven it yet, as I screwed up the draglink end taking it out, but will be here by noon thursday.

The install went' OK. 2 big problems I had were fitting the track bar drop bracket, it fit for ****, and I had to use one size smaller bolt in one of the holes to get it on, but I will try to work on getting it right later (it's still safe). Other was how in the hell to bolt on the lower kelderman bracket, as you cannot use the factor captured nut, and there was no way to get it on from the backside.

After getting ******, and nothing in the instructions I took a 1" hole saw to the back side of the bracket where there is a 5/8" hole already and get it all on.

I also modded the sport bumper a lil. I took and cut off the lower black valance w/ a pocket knife. Not sure how I like it yet as I can't get a great look at it in the garage.

Pics will all come tomorrow after I get the steering squared away, and a report on the ride and handling as well.

I'm preparing to install a Kelderman 5" myself, any tips or suggestions, things to watch out for? Thanks.

The D25's will be forsale, after I determine if I like the kelderman or not, if not they will go back on w/ a set of coil spacers.

As for things to watch out on the install, I can't speak for any of the kelderman stuff, except for the bags, brackets and shocks Like I said. And other than what I mentioned above about the hole saw (I think it was actually 1 1/8" saw), just make sure you have the truck at ride height before you try to install the shocks, otherwise they are all cockeyed and don't line up in the holes. Oh, and be prepared to shave down the bushings, as mine would not fit between the mounts.

The pics in my readers rig are of my truck with 2. 5" SJ springs up front and a 2" superlift block out back.

I finally got pics of the truck w/ the new suspension and cut bumper.

Pics kinda suck, but I didn't get my part till 5pm and I didnt' get a chance to take pics until it was dark out. I'll get some better ones tomorrow, and some up close of the suspension

Let me know how it handles after the lift . I know after my 6" lift i had a few problems with handling and drive line vibe. I am still working on the handling but got the vibe fixed i just adjusted the castor.
