David: I was kidding around more than anything... . I wouldn't expect anyone to go outside and play around with their truck in this weather.

Heatwave in WI? Not yet anyhow... . but as soon as there is a heatwave I'm headed for the University of Wisconsin campus to go look at the scenery!

I went to the local Dodge dealer last night and got some measurements... . I also took some careful measurements of the parking area back at the apartment. I'm thinking that she'll fit if I can make it lower down even an inch or two. Oo.

I measured the distance between the rubber bump stop and the pad on the axle... . it was roughly 3".

I know, I had a smiley on mine too. :)

I think that's really all you need to know - the bumpstop distance. The shocks are a factor on the one hand, but somewhat irrelevant on the other hand as you can just get shocks with a short enough compressed length to work, regardless.

David:

I hear you on the shock issue... . but I wanted to make sure that the kit that Kelderman sold had shocks that would allow me to let it sit on the bumpstops... . otherwise I'd tell 'em to keep their shocks and I would start shopping on my own... . or they could spec out a set for me.

Matt

I bought my kit without shocks anyway - they took $150ish off the price and I got in on one of the buy 3 get 1 free RS9000X promos. Or I could of gone bilstiens. Jeff even gave me the Rancho part numbers.

If it were me I'd order the kit minus shocks, install the kit, measure myself for shocks and order what I needed.
