Gene is like me, he likes to drive, but I don't go out of town without my spares kit and tool box.

Supersonic, how did the Cyl wall look, dang that scares me looking at that piston..... nice Billet cam in the back ground.

You guys are killing me not posting any Video, there are a few of us that need to see those to keep the press on..... it's motivating.

This picture makes me sick to my stomach just looking at it: #ad

Man - and I thought I saw some nasty looking pistons on Haisley's table...

What caused it? Besides too much fuel/heat...

If Craig is a transplanted 'cheesehead'... does that make me a transplanted 'yankee'... or a 'cheesey yankee'? :-laf

That's better than the one that popped into my head... . "Cheese-Hole" you know taken from that nickname Mass people have been known to get

Not actually from too much heat, from too much heat going where it shouldn't! Near as I can tell the top ring must've broke on one of the first two runs and then the fire escaping through it eroded (more like torched) the side of the piston untill it all let loose. The cylnders are getting bored 20 over and its getting new pistons and rings. Thats not the bad part though, all that fire coked up the oil on the can journal between 5&6 and it gauled and junked my 2,000 dollar cam, or so I thought, It actually only picked up cast off the block, so I am having the cam journal reground and polished on the crank grinder and we bored the journal in the block to accept a bushing like the front nose on the block has allready.
