Had a little trouble today trying to unlock my drivers side door, and the same on the passenger side but not as bad. We had a bad few days of rain here and I did fly through some mud puddles, would this cause the sticky lock? It feels like something is just blocking the key mechanism from moving, but after playing with it a little it turns???

key

I'll bet that if it happened all at once, and with both doors, that it is the key, and not the locks. Did you try your spare key?

We have a lot of salt here in the winter, between that and me having a keyless remote, I seldom use the tumbler... ... ..... until I locked myself out one day. I found out that neither door would open with the key.

After I got back home, I took the door panel off and removed the tumbler, disassembled it (doens't look like it was meant to come apart, but it did with a little effort), cleaned it thuroghly and reassembled with white grease, works like a champ now.

So maybe with your location, and the salt water, you did get some corosion. It's really not a big deal to dis/reassemble the tumbler, just a little time.

Thanks for the quick responses, I think I found the problem, I tried my spare key and, of couse, it worked. So I guess it was a case of a worn out key. Thanks again guys... .....
