Key Chime & Perform Service Light

Does anybody know how to switch off the "Key in Ignition" chime? I've already switched off the Seatbelt chime. Not a fan of all the Big Brother chimes.

On another note: How do I reset the "Perform Service" message on my overhead display. I have just over 67,500 miles on my truck and have already serviced the CCV Filter.

The Truck is a 2008 6. 7 4x4

I haven't found a way to disable it, but I can pull it out 1/8" and it stops. Not sure if the 08 works the same as the 05.

I do the same thing, but be aware... when you pull that key out that 1/8"" you have just disabled the feature that keeps you from locking yourself out of the truck using the power lock button.

If that key is in place and that chime is a chimin' then you can not lock the door with the door lock switch.

The 05 lets me lock the doors, even with the key-fob and/or door open with the button, with the engine running. It's a feature I like and use often.
