2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Keyless Entry FOB Reprogramming??

I just bought a '98 12v and it has keyless entry. The truck only came with one FOB, and I would like to get another one as a spare. I found a FOB cheap on EBay, but the @#$% dealer wants $42 to reprogram the FOB and claims that there is no way for me to do it myself... . :{ Is he feeding me a line? If so, does anyone know how I can do it myself?

Yes the dealer is right you have to use a DR box which the dealer has.

I don't know if this works or not, but at fritz's page there is a TSB posted on how to reprogram the FOBs. Here's the link:
