keyless entry/remote start

my buddy is looking at a keyless entry/remote start system for his new truck. does anyone have any suggestions as to which brand is the best quality and easiest to install? thanks alot

Tell your bud to hold his horses for a little while longer. I researched and purchased Crimestopper Coolstart 900ER and I am in the process of installing now along with a window control module that powers windows Both UP AND DOWN, it also allows one touch down on the passenger side as well. I'll let you know how easy it is by the end of the week. ( I hope ).

Best quality? Either Avital or Clifford. I had the Avital AviStart system in my 98 Ram 1500, and loved it. Easy to install? No... but it ain't brain surgery either. www.avital.com
