keyless entry/remote start

my buddy wants to install a keyless entry and remote start on his truck. he jsut wants to know what the best brands and easiest to install are. any help appreciated, thanks

I have the Avital remote start/ keyless entry. They are one of the few companies that hook it up to your wait to start light. ( for an extra $50) Some companies just put in a simple 30 second delay for us diesels (which makes no sense if it's warm out or warmed up )

It works well for me I may need to upgrade to an alarmed remote start though... . To Many BOMB's

DEI which makes Viper alarms makes a unit for a diesel. I have it and it works off the wait to start light which means when that light goes out the truck turns on. Its going to cost you roughly $500 or more but its top of the line and I strongly recommend it. I got the option for temp and time starts. If I'm not going to be around a plug at night I set the temp and my truck will monitor the engine temp.
