there are several alarm companies that incorporate a keyless entry and auto starter into their burgs. check out Viper or Bull Dog they are both pretty well known.
goto a stereo shop and inquire about one, or you can even get them through JC Whitney and Northern Tool. to install yourself.
www.crutchfield.com has some kits, they are not the cheapest place to buy stuff from, but, they give you vehicle specific instructions and offer a help desk who knows what they are talking about if you have a problem.
The Viper has options to automatically roll up the windows, engage or disengage door locks as the ignition switched is turned on or off, and several other niceties. Personally I like my paging unit so that I can switch to silent alarm mode. Yes I have caught a few folks who appeared to be in the act and yes I dissuaded them from ever returning for my truck! That little red dot on the forehead trick does wonders for repeat offenders!
There once was a young lady (spotter) roaming around St. Louis over in the Creve Couer (specifically O'berlin/McKelvey Rd. ) area that can personally attest to what an UZI bolt sounds like as it slams shut on a live cartridge, followed by the words, "Move one D*&$ inch and I'll open your lousy carcass like a can of tomato soup!" That incident for all intents and purposes ended the crime spree in this particular apartment complex for the next 10 months. Evidently the word got out to the BAD GUYS about a crazy sniper on the third level with night vision and lazer sight.
