Does anyone have the compressor kit From Kilby and if so how do they like it. Can you run air tools off of it and if so how big. I talk to someone there Brad was out of town that said that it would run up to a 1/2 inch drive.

Thanks for the info

Trey

If you're talking an engine driven York, it should run an impact wrench fine. Kilby's a class act. I am looking forward to his upcoming 3rd gen kit to mount the York compressor. .

I have his set up. I have a 7 gallon tank on it. It runs my impact fine. I have a kicker set up that bumps the rpm up to 1500 when the compresser kicks in. It really speeds up the recovery.

His kit is first class.

I'm interested in running an air setup also, but don't even know what all is available. I have a couple of tanks I can use, but need more info on the actual compressors, mounting hardware, etc. Anybody got any links? TIA.

well i called today and the kit is 750-800 for everything. Does anyone know if they offer a TDR discount. I also tried to talk to Brad but the secretary would not let me and gave me to Robert.

tgbol with the extra stuff you got with your compressor what did it run you. Robert said they only offer a 2. 5 gal tank. Did you get your tank through them or some where else?

I bought only the basic bracket kit from Kilby. I already had an air tank to handle my air horns. The rest of of it I assembled myself. The air cylinder to kick the the throttle is from an Ingersoll-Rand air compressor, the electric/air solenoid that sends air to the cylinder is a PTO control from Freightliner. I also supplied my own compressor.
