Killed a Maxipad!

It bums me out though, that if I put the ~2. 2K I have into pump, injectors, turbo, intake, exhaust, etc. and applied it to a duramax, it'd be 14's no sweat, maybe quicker in a 2wd single cab, etc.

I've not run my truck, but I bet I never see 14's unless I get "Nascar Mark" serious about it!

All these new choices in fast diesel trucks are only possible because the other brands and aftermarket are creating this friendly performance war - so in my humble opinion they are all great!

As far as my experience went one Duramax is a local guy who was giving all he had the other one had been messing with me on the hwy for a while passing me then slowing down etc. He ran it up to about 90 I then decided what the heck. I pulled up to him we both took off he was left sitting he probably hit the speed limiter but mine just hit 120 and left him behind. When I got off at my exit he just waved and went on. I am not knocking the Dmax because I don't know much about it I am just telling what happened.

It is all relevant. Some don't really give a hoot how fast a truck is, just how much it can pull and how long. I would love to have a longevity drag with a juiced Duramax! Not the first one there, but the last one standing!

Unfortunately he does. He got the nice smooth, one piece, big hips. Ours have the bolted on hip extensions.

A buddy of mine has a brand new DMAx. I havent ridden in it yet, but he's ridden in mine and he does NOT want to line them up. Says no way can his outrun my truck. And he's the kinda guy if he thinks he can even be close he'd go for it.
