Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Killed another lift pump

I cant figure something out yes I know about all the problems with them and yet I bought another one. This one lasted two weeks. I know this sounds weird and I don't know if there is any validity to it but ever since my station has changed to the new fuel my pressure started dropping and the truck doesnt run near as good as it did. Has anyone else noticed this or is it just me. #@$%!
