One more thing to add to my list:

Death to the KDP!!

Even with the relatively low frequency of the KDP in the 1st gens, it's definitely some cheap insurance to kill it before it kills you.

I've looked at my DP 3 times and it hasn't moved. I installed a DP tab friday on a hp engine in the shop and will do the same with my engine when we go high hp. I will post some pic's soon of my cam installs when I get around to developing my neg.

I would tab the DP now. I don't know how much the high hp will affect it. My truck was pretty much stock (as far as I knew) and the KDP made its way out. Now I'm trying to decide if i want to fix it or buy a new truck. Also need to fix the body damage too. Just my 2 cents. alonzo

Does anyone know if the Jig is available in Texas. I realize they float around I just don't know how to get on the list and if there is one for TX. Thanks!

Look in the 2nd gen form under KDP it's at the top of the page there should be one for that area.

Be sure to get at first gen KDP jig. The gear cases are different between the first and second gens, so they require different jigs.
