BD Power is pleased to introduce their Killer Grid Heater Upgrade Kit for 2007-2024 Cummins 6.7-liter engines. What they refer to in the title of a video on this as, a $200 part, which may help prevent a $10,000 engine replacement.

The kit features include:

• Eliminates the problematic grid heater bolt and nut that could lead to engine damage
• Self-locking threads built into the lower busbar which will prevent the connection from backing out and compromising the electrical connection
• Kit includes replacement hardware and gaskets, along with special tools required for the job
• Allows for full heat output with the stock intake grid heater

Nice kit! I installed it a couple months back. The install was good and parts fit great! Peace of mind was priceless! Mine hadn't shown any signs of coming apart. Looking forward to see how the preheat cycles are this winter. The buss bar is WAY larger than the factory. This is an upgrade that is worth it, especially if you're worried about dropping the nut into #6!

Looks like it was so popular it immediately went on backorder! Back in stock at the moment. I believe it should have a note saying the fuel injector lines need to come off as some, like me, wrongly assume it's an easier/quicker install. It's not. Some may wish for a diesel shop to do this install because of that.
