Update....5.9 In An '87 Ford

Cummins in forties lead sled?

FWIW, early Cummins Dodges had problems w/ the frame cracking just behind the cab due to the massive torque. Dodge tried using the same frame they had in the gas engine trucks & it wasn't up to the stress.

That would be really cool. Kinda like Earl Kann's conversion.

I think that means you think my rig is cool?? Thanks :D

So let me get this straight, it does not run but they have it valued at $6,190??? At least the opening bid is only set at $35

BTW, There is an 83'-ish crew cab that I see alongside the freeway on my way home every day. It has $1,XXX marked on the windshield. I haven't stopped to check it out so that is all I know for now. If anyone is in the market for a crew to convert I'll stop and take a closer look.

Their all in California:mad: lol!! I'd love to have a W model crew cab to put along side my D model. That one towner posted, looked like a good one. Us midwesterners don't have much to chose from. Sam couldn't get $5000 for this one when he had it in Colorado, in this area, easily $10k I could get for it. I usually get asked if I'm selling it every time I drive, sorry not for sale:p.
