Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) know anything about a Walbro?

I posted on the first page of this thread my walbro was dying, i got the new one and it didn't have any fp either, turned out to be the isolator on the fuel pressure gauge.
The old pump is fine i just tested it, Now i have a spare on hand.
My mistake was trusting just the fp gauge in the truck, the way mine acted watching the gauge it was like a dying carter but that was not the case.

I thought I had the problem fixed but I didn't. Richard had sent me a new pump which arived on Fri. I took a road trip today to western PA and developed the problem again. On my way home I was changing the walbro in the mud and water along the PA turnpike. Not a fun day. I'll send this pump back for Richard to look at it.

Yeah, I thought I got mine when I first cleaned the screen. I actually thought that I might have a gelling problem when it first started acting up, but the screen was spotless.

My 392 is doing the same thing. I recently replaced the pre-filter and fuel filter before going on vacation in July. While taking the truck camper back to storage I had zero pressure and then it bounced up to 4. I left the trcuk with the camper on it in storgae and hope to check things this afternoon. Are all of you running the 392 or the 391? I bought mine in May '07, is the warranty expired?

Isn't this the same manufacturer that supplies the pump Ford uses with such a low failure rate?

Checked it with the gauge I got from Geno's this week. It's fine, has to be the sending unit for the gauge. Where are you 2nd gen guys mounting your sending unit?

Here's mine - hope it isn't too confusing - the "extra" stuff seen is the Hobbs switch for my fuel PSI alarm...
