In the search to make my 2022 3500 regular cab long box haul my 3000 k truck camper with less slow speed side sway I came upon this . Expensive 4 shocks for $1400 then install labor. But a sway bar and shipping and install will be close to the same . Empty ride is supposed to be excellent. These are supposedly self adjusting shocks . Does anybody know anything about these shocks etc?

I cant find any Koni shocks listed for your trick...why dont you post a link to the actual shocks you are looking at.

Obviously, Koni is best known for its street racing tuned shocks.
Of course, I am NOT saying that they cant make a decent truck shock, but it seems to be a VERY different category then what they excel at.

That said, I dont see how shocks alone can help much with sway or handling on a slide in camper.

Furthermore, if they are not actually a larger diameter shock then I would simply suggest ignoring them and to go for a shock designed and built for these HD trucks from either Thuren or Carli ... if anything they will be the same price or more then the Konis you are looking at, but they have PROVEN performance on our trucks.

The Carli tuned/Fox manugavtured Backcountry shocks are inthe same price range as the Konis you looked at,

In my search for a roadmaster rear anti sway bar I called road-master yesterday to verify the proper part number and any dealers in my area . About $950 and $150 shipping to Alaska. I called a couple dealers here. Would have to order of course. One dealer told me of the koni shocks after I explained my problem with sidesway so it’s all new to me. I still think the sway bar is most of the answer to the problem

An ant-sway bar will reduce the distance of side-to-side travel for a given situation. Very effective with high center-of-gravity loads.

A suitable shock will reduce the number side to side travel events and diminish the intensity of the events . The shocks will offer resistance when forced to extend, but will offer little or no resistance when forced to compress.

It is the combination of the anti-sway bar and the correct application of shocks that allows a truck with a high center-of-gravity load to perform much better.

I think I agree with you on this all rear sway bar first. See how that goes then 4 new shocks maybe at some point in the future

Tire Rack shows Koni STR.T light truck shocks for a 2022 single rear wheel regular cab truck for $98 each front, $96 each rear, set of four comes in at $388 plus tax and shipping. Koni part #s are 8850 1053 front and 8850 1054 rear for a 2022 regular cab single rear wheel 4x4. They do not show a listing for regular cab dually or for a regular cab two wheel drive.

I wonder if the $1400 was for a Hellwig swaybar, 4 shocks and installation?

When I called the guy on a install he was very busy. I ask him is he would install a roadmaster sway bar for me. He said it would have to be ordered and then there would be shipping I said well of course. Then I told him a bit about the cog being high and slow speed side sway. He said they have good luck with the koni shocks for this. I ask him what it would cost he said about 1400 $ so it may or not be sway and shocks I don’t really know.Sway bar first maybe shocks after that.

KONI shocks for Euro big trucks. buses, etc more than give them expertise.

Motorhomes over here.

They’re on my list.

Had them on a big car years ago. Really great.

I think those are for the non factory air. They are different.

Those are for 13-18 trucks, and excludes Air Suspension.

The Koni website doesn’t list any shocks for 19-23 trucks.

I met a guy with a Prevost H3 coach (13' high and 50K+ pounds, not necessarily a high cog) and he liked his Konis.
