Kool Vue Mirrior Install Question

I am getting ready to purchase the kool vue towing mirrors for my 2nd Generation truck year I hear that you have to buy the support brackets for the inside of the door to help support the mirror. I need help with the part numbers and were to get them if I really need them.

You really do need the support brackets. They can be found online or at the dealer and part #'s are as follows:

55156128AB - BR RH Reinforcement Plate

55156129AB - BR LH Reinforcement Plate

Yes you need them. The part numbers listed are the ones i used as well. I was going to try and make my own but i figured for $12 each i will jsut buy them.

Did you get the power heated ones? I love mine. They did take some getting use to. I tapped a few atms and my mail box trying to get the mail. O and my garage. LOL sounds like i cant drive now. hehe

Yes I ordered the power ones with heat I got them from speedycarparts.com

for 103. 00 each and I ordered the brackets from mopar for less for 11 bucks each thanks for the help everyone.
