Just a heads up as my friend took his '05 4wd CTD in to Jack Powell Dodge in San Marcos,Ca for inspection of ball joint play and leaking steering box. Inspection validated his claims but warranty coverage was denied due to"suspension modification" He has a KORE Chase system,which enhances the stock setup and works within the stock steering geometry parameters. Dodge must be hurtin' to deny this guy coverage. We live in San Diego Co. and must drive 75-100 miles in order to find a dirt road. :{

I would of gotten Kore on the phone with the service manager and let them hash it out. The whole thing sucks

I've taken my 05 back to my dealership for service and asked them about the Kore Chase kit that's installed and I was advised it's my truck and I can do what I want with it. I talked with the warranty dude before it was installed and he told me it would not void the warranty. Maybe it varies between dealerships.

:cool: If you live in the San Diego area and will p. m. "Catwrench" I'm sure he will be very appreciative. His computer will receive but not transmit. Thanks

Take it to the hemit ca dealer..... they shouldnt have any issue with it, they're pretty cool about those things and are predominantly a dodge truck dealer...

Good luck

The service writer at Jack Powell in Escondido CA used the 35" M/t's to get out of the shudder portion of my complaint and used the "modified suspension" excuse to get out of covering my steering box. I didn't expect them to cover it anyway. They also noted my modified intake and 5" no cat exhaust along w/ the tone ring missing from the turbo, as far as I'm concerned the tech's don't do as good of a job as you would do yourself anyway and the service writers are experts in the practice of voiding warranties and are more than a match for the regular guy.

Pretty poor of DC... . given the steering box's are junk on a stock truck anyhow... . i'm sure the oversize tires agrivate the s box more than stock tires, but my stock tires have killed one just the same.

:--) Why don't a bunch of us with the KORE,or DRC systems allready installed go down there and visit with the manager and get Him to quit that great sucking sound from his you know what ,then lay rubber out of the dealership and down the street. I'm tired of those tight &%# managers that don't know what they are doing.
