Hi 4xqr,
I also have the KORE Chase system. In my opinion, it's a "sweet spot" all around compared to the stock springs and shocks. My off road driving is nowhere near the extreme stuff that KORE and their cohorts do, but I'm still glad I installed it. National forest access roads, and a bit of pasture running in North Georgia, at speeds no more than 30-40 MPH, is the extent that I've tested the new setup.
I did read something about the system getting better after the shocks are warmed, and I think I've noticed this both off-road and on the highway. It does seem to get a bit more supple and controlled after it's been driven a while. It's a lot plusher feel on the road too, although I do notice the action of the sway bars more than I did with the stock springs. I'm trying to explore ways of tweaking those, but after talking with Kent Kroeker, I'm not sure I can install his drop blocks for the front bar in conjunction with my DSS steering gear brace.
All things considered, it's a GOOD thing on my truck.
Hope this helps,
John
