Installed the KORE chase last Friday. UPS showed @ 1130am.

Started @ 1pm and was done by 7:00pm. The easiest suspension system I have ever installed! AND with the greatest results!! On road is not much different than stock, but you can tell it's there. I mean tell in a good way. As soon as you hit the dirt is where things come to light! The gain in control is very impressive. Whoops are very controlled and washboard type ruts are pretty much none existent. It was hard to keep it under 80mph! We are talking trail-fire roads that empty the bed if things are not tied down. The dog was not impressed! My lab was in the back seat area NOT tied down.

My sixteen year old said "It was better than any carnival ride he has ever been on"! Oo.

Highly recommended!

Will post pics and loaded results as time permits.

Stab,

Congradulations on an awesome system. It is like a one-ton porsche, the faster you go the smoother it gets!!!

Oo. Quick install dude !

I installed mine last weekend also.

Very impressive charactaristics. I can still feel the bumps in the road, even more than before but they aren't jarring. The road feel is amazing. I'm still running the factory tires and the tracking is 100% better as if I'm on rails. Roads where I'd normally grip the wheel at hyway speeds are fluffy non coffee spilling vibrations. And whoops make me giggle now, :D .

The funniest part was getting in the truck for the first test drive. I didn't really look for a big increase in lift, I tripped on my running board and fell into my seat, face first.

Anyone measure how much lift they gained? I was more about the performance than height.

I installed Lorenz last week, 1. 5 HR on front and 45 min on rear, the clock started when the truck was lifted in the air.

Doug,

The chase system raised my front 2. 5" and rear 1" with stock tires. add 4" with 35 x 12. 5 x 17 on stock rims. Are you considering the TOYO OPEN COUNTRY MT'S? I would have preferred them but at the time they were on national backorder. I got the Parnelli Jones Dirt Grip which rock in the mud or snow and aren't bad on the freeway.

Some pictures in my "Readers Rigs" under Blue on the Kore install.

Question: How do I upload a clear picture that I see on this site under the upload size guide lines. I am not pleased with the sharpness of the photos.

:confused:

When I start suspension bombing -about the time the stock shocks bite it - the KORE Chase system is the direction I plan on going. It seems to do an excellent job at improving the overall ride and control, leveling the truck, and the 1" rear raise will not complicate GN towing buy decreasing the bed rail clearances by much and requiring a mod to raise the GN. Overall it seems to be an excellent upgrade. I look forward to hearing everyone's experiences until that time when I get to experience the KORE system.

The backorder issue and the price of the Toyos have me undecided still.

I'm wondering if Parnelli Jones are made by ProComp, if so they won't be on my list.

Being I'd love a good MT, it's tough to decide on which one due to wear, noise and performance. I've run MT/Rs on my Jeep and they were quiet and great wear but there's a huge weight difference between a Jeep and a CTD.

The price of the Nitto Grapplers MTs is really appealing. D rated and I've read some good reports on them.

I've got 36K on my tires and what looks to be another 36K of tread left, so I may wait a little longer before I decide.

The best way is to upload your picture to a photo hosting site like PhotoBucket (free acct) and hot link it to your post, like this;

Chalk up another happy Kore customer. I just installed the Chase package on my '06 3500 this weekend. The install went very well with out any problems. Installed the front end Saturday evening, finished the rear Sunday morning. I couldn't wait to run the truck. Found the nearest logging road and ran about 20 miles. The ride was fantastic. Washerboard roads that bounced the back of the truck all over and were difficult to climb in 2wd were no problem. I may have to park the ATV's and just run the truck around. (Although turning around on single lane logging roads cut into the side of is a little more challenging. )

The 35-12. 50RX17 's previously ordered came in Saturday so as soon as I decide on which wheel I want, I'll be set.

JeepinDoug: Thanks, I will try to get this figured out.

Update

Went for a long trail ride with the dirt bikes yesterday. We have a field that was an old prairie dog town that is over grown and also has had some logging done around it with many cuts and tracks made by these logging vehicles. We use it to test the suspension upgrades and settings on our KTM dirt bikes. There is a dozen of us in this group. We know immediately when something is amiss with our suspension when crossing this field at speed. On a dirt bike this is somewhere around 60 mph, depending on the bike. It will bottom a dirt bike suspension with no problem.

Upon arrival I unhooked the trailer from the truck and off we went across said field. AMAZING! The first time across we hit 48 mph. On the return we hit 50 mph. Changed riders and hit 53 and 54 respectively across it again. Changed drivers and hit 53-54 again while filming. Compares to the Baja Bug suspensions I used to have in my coyote busting days. Only with a 7500 lb. TRUCK! 45 mph seems to be the magic number. Kind of rough under 45, but still much better than stock. As soon as you hit 45 things kind of change and everything just smoothes out. I did feel the front bottom at least twice, but nothing real jarring like it had done before. I was unable to cross this field above 30 without handing my kidneys to the passenger to hold for me! :{

My Buds were some what sceptical about me spending 2k on a suspension kit for an almost new truck. But the tone changed after a few rides in the rough stuff. :-laf

Hey, nice to see that someone else in NE likes to hammer ther truck through the rough. kore has it pretty well dialed in. I have had the the race in my 2nd gen for over a year and think it's the best upgrade I have added so far.

I know exactally what you mean about the glazed look when asked how much the shocks cost and you mumble something about 2k , there is'nt any question after doing 50 down a sand trail and they're grabbing the ohs**t handle though :-laf

Be forewarned the american 9 1/4 ront end will bend much easier than the Dana 60 when pushed hard... ... ... ... ... .

Okay Mark, I did a bit of reading and price shopping. PJ Dirt Grips on the way for $1200 installed. NW&T quoted the same price shipped to my door... ... ..... but didn't offer to send someone to mount them, :D .

They seem to be a damn fine tire.

I should have them next week.
