I have had no problems with my lift in general. It's mild enough to not have a drastic effect on the front pinion angle and if it does, I think you have other issues. I ran mine all winter with 4x4 on many occasions. I drive all the time every day, the front shaft has been fine. Remember, it's always connected and spinning. There is no axle disconnect. I also run a heavy plow.
Raising the front a couple inches is well within the stock travel of stock suspension geometry. In otherwords you are still within stock driveline angles of all components except not in the middle of it. That's why it sometimes takes some minor tweeking like these drop blocks to perfect the system.
Tires are also a biggy. Some can be troublesome. "E" rated is the best way to go.
