I did allot of asking around before getting one and it seemed you couldn't get a real answer for the few that had bought it. Well after my purchase I will say if you are contemplating it like I was, Do It! It's is allot of money to fork out for a stabilizer but once I installed it I could tell even before driving the truck that this was a well thought out stabilizer. The shock itself is longer and attaches 5 inches closer to the driver side of the truck making the cross bar it attaches to more stable and less likely to pivot or roll back and forth at the tie rod ends. The alignment of the new shock is parallel to the ground and not cocked like the OEM Unit. It's Zink plated and matches the 5100's so rust should not be a problem from rock chips unlike the cheaper painted shocks.

The test drive was to be expected nothing but satisfaction here. After installing the 33x13. 50 tires on my truck a week ago it became more sensitive to the feel of the road. I would grasp the wheel with both hands when I saw a pothole ahead. I now drive the truck with one finger again with no worries. The only adjustment I had to make was to let some nitrogen out of the shock as it comes charged at 200 pounds. This would of been the right charge from my old 1500 with 35's as it pulled to the right. My truck tracked straight before and had no right hand pull so I found 125 PSI in the shock tracked straight.

Overall I would say If your contemplating, Do It! This is very cheap insurance and might just get you or me out of a sticky situation some day.

I will agree with you there Cali. My truck drives like a car with 315's on it. I let a little too much nitrogen out the first time, but got it charged to 150 psi and it is perfect now. I didn't have to contimplate the purchase, it came with my DRC/Kore system. This truck is awesome to drive now. Best money spent on the truck! Oo. :D

I have the Kore Chase System and love it. I broke my steering stabilizer the other day crossing over a rock that was taller than the clearance of the stabilizer but shorter than my axle. Needless to say that it snaped in half. That is my only problem with the stabilizer. It does drive really good with it on but i work in land development in Mexico and needless to say with a rock I snaped it in half. :--)

I've got a 4" superlift on my truck and looking to replace my dual stabilizer shocks to the Kore Streering stabilizer. Does anyone know if this will work.

Greg, Cooper tires?

In that size, I imagine they are the Discoverer STT. Rated at over 3500 lbs.

So, how do they fit with the Kore set up, and did they require the fiberglass front fenders to fit?

Gravedigger,

check to see how the Kore attaches to the axle because keep in mind you had to cut off the OEM mount to accomodate your dual setup.

Hi Guys,

Tires,

The Cooper is just a tire that I wanted to run. It is a great tire and holds up great to the off road abuse I dish out. On the road it is not as quiet as the Toyo but as we all know, the Toyo's are on 3 tier backorder. The tire is also Load Range D and you know that I do not believe that is the way to go. It has functioned fine and I have no issues with it. It is much better than the BFG that Bob 4x4 is running on his KORE Suspended truck. I highly recommend not running the BFG 315 AT. They have issues of being out of round.

Steering Stabilizer,

Kore does not currently offer a SS for the 2nd gen trucks.

On a 3rd Generation truck, the steering stabilizer is a must for any lifted vehicle running large tires. If not, you could experience a bit of wteering wander with the higher lifts.

Thanks Greg :-laf

I feel much better now. I have the no questions asked warranty... . so You will notice I never have worn out tires on my rides :D :D

I have gone though a few sets on the 94 ;) Glamis and 10-15 psi does eat em up

Greg,you coming to Palmdale?
