OK, Let me start off by telling everybody that I have a Pace system so I am not talking about a item I don't have first hand experience with.

I installed the system along with my bumpers and tires. Worked great, aawesome actually. The front end started to sag so I got ahold of KORE and they said that I must have gotten the wrong front springs. No big deal, Sara Mae (sp?) sent a set of heavy duty springs out to me and I finally got those put in. Sorry for how long it took KORE. Returned the old springs postage paid by KORE. Great customer service.

My problem is that not long after I put in the "heavy duty" springs the front end of my truck started to sag again.

Called KORE and they said it was normal. Now I'm not saying they are wrong and not saying that the suspension is faulty, but part of the reason that I got the system was to be able to have a level truck. Now it looks like a slightly taller factory raked truck with TOYOS.

Just wanted to know if anyone else is haveing this happen, the pics I see are all pretty level looking. Thanks Guys.

Mine seems to have "settled" a bit but since I dont have the rear leaf packs it seemed to be a bit nose high at first. I love the way mine sits now, slight rake,if I measure from top of tire to fender lip I have 3/4" more in the rear.

When I called I was told it was "healthy" spring compression. Not quite sure what that means but I have close to a 2 inch difference front and rear. I dunno why this is but buddies that bought a cheap spacer leveling kit got a level truck. Mine does ride a lot better though.

How heavy is the bumper you have on the front of the truck? I am sure KORE did not plan for you to have that in place. And if you have a winch bumper or plow setup I am sure it is worse. Coils are great but they show weight easily. Might be a place to start, I am not familiar with the KORE spring rates but they are probably designed around a fairly stock front end setup.

Hi Guys,

I will try my best to clear things up a bit. The Front springs on RussW1911's truck are the HD Diesel Coil designed for a 200 lb bumper. I am also sure that the truck rides great and has no issues that are associated with a spacer lift. The KORE systems all offer 2. 5" of lift in the front and 1" in the rear. That places a stock truck with a stock bumper at an almost level ride hight. Typically we will see about 1 inch lower on a long bed and about 3/4" on the short wheel based trucks. This drop from front to rear is designed into the systems for a good reason. Handling. The trucks do not handle as good or track through a corner with a tight feel when the front is up at level. It is one of the limitations of the 5 link front end. Have you ever put too much tongue weight on a trailer and it unweights the front of your rig? Steering is effected in a very negative way. Stopping distances are also decreased causing unsafe conditions. KORE made the decision to go with what worked the best. That has always been the motto at KORE, function before form. Yes they do make a system that makes the truck look better. They also have included an exceptional ride on the hwy and off road. The end result is a truck that can drive with ultra high performance and look good doing it. Plus it is built to last for the life of the vehicle.

Now to the "sagging" front coils,

If I believed there was a problem with said coils on Russ' truck, I would send a set out and not even consult KORE. The issue is not the coil but a heavy bumper. The KORE coils have not sagged on my truck and I have thousands of hard, abusive off road miles,I tow way over weight, and cruise down the hwy too. I have an aftermarket bumper guard, combined with the stock bumper, that will add up to almost 180 lbs. That is almost as much as a " cow killer' type of bumper. My truck sits with 1 inch of rake, down in the front. It always has and I think it is supposed to. On a 2nd gen truck, the HD Diesel Coils are very HD. The front of a 3rd gen truck is much heavier from the factory. In fact the truck is a little heavier too. At least my truck is heavier than my 01 was.

Give me a call on Monday. I would love to help find a solution for your problem.

Thanks, Greg DRC

Some how I KNEW Greg would step in and do his best to help. KORE and DRC are great to work with! They take the time to listen, think out a solution and set things right! Nice move Greg! (Now... when are my tires coming in?) hehehehee

Sorry I haven't replied to the post sooner (elk hunting)

Greg is right. The ride and performance of my truck is second to none after putting the KORE system on.

My only gripe is that it doesn't sit level.

As Greg said, I have the HD springs under my bumper, and my "cow killer" is a touch over 200 lbs.

Can I live with it? Yes

Just wondering if anyone else had the problem. Russ
