Last year I considered a KORE (then T-Rex) suspension system. At that time they had two variations, one for off road using Fox shocks and one for highway using Bilstiens. I test rode in trucks with both (thanks again SARJ and CARLI). Not being convinced that either would fulfill my goal of smoothing out LA freeway bad expanssion joints enough to justify the cost, I never did it. Now I see they have 3 systems: Race, Chase, and Pace. I'm sure I don't need the Race system, has anyone installed either Pace or Chase and what do you think of it?

Also, I would like an opinion from anyone running the Toyo A/T tire recomended by Kore for the Kore/Weld wheel (highway noise, ride, wear, ect)? Do these tires get past the snow chain checkpoint when the requirement is chains or 4WD with snow tires?

I have a 2nd Gen so you can take this with a grain of salt. I installed my Pace front end (waiting on the rear to be shipped) yesterday and took it straight to the desrt on the washboard and some of the other paved roads that look like they were under a mortar attack. The ride is like night and day on my truck. I was able to keep up normal sppeds, within reason, and dodge the bigger holes but it ate up the small ones that I hit. I am hoping the rear shock and spring packs take away even more.

I am running 315 75 r16's on the stock wheels and will be running the TOYO's later on. I have heard of good mileage on these tires and they are quiet. My buddy has 315's on his Duracrap and you can hardly hear them on the road.

My only real negative is That I am rubbing at full lock on my lower control arm.

Hope some of this helped. Russ

George, the key to getting a good ride on the bad highways is to change the front springs and getting the mini-paks for the rear springs.

The PACE system would probably handle what you thnk you'd use the truck for. As Russ testified, when you change both the front and rear, you will get a true balanced ride.

Here is Phoenix, we have some of that expansion joint highway, and the KORE system really changes the ride over it.

No more launching the rear over the joints at speed. It just cycles over it. And does it with control and stability.

I ordered mine ,There prices went up last week :{

I just found that out, the Pace system was $1200 + $250 for installation. If it will smooth out the ride it will be worth it. Some of the LA freeways are so bad that you can't have a normal conversation because it sounds like someone is hammering on your chest.
