I wish for one second I didn't have a KORE suspension system so this reply wouldn't just seem as taking sides. (After the second, the system would go right back on of course. )



Anyways, I have met Greg before and one thing I would have to say about the guy is backing out is not in his character. That ugly little bull dog wouldn't back away from any challenge. I have seen him drive too, and believe me, he isn't afraid of anything. He is balls out behind the wheel. But I really have to question why Lorenz is so bothered by him not showing up? Is it that now he has to buy the carne asada, or because he won't get his fair share of dust for the weekend, ha ha. No offense Lorenz, just having fun with it. I think it is great that Lorenz is willing to put his products to the test, but I am sure he would agree that doing a section of a BITD race would probably take precedence over a 300 yard dash in Glamis. Seems a bit trivial in comparison.



Lorenz, have you tried contacting Pro Comp, Fab Tech, DR, etc,... to see if they are all willing to even entertain the thought of your challenge as well? Probably not. Why would they? I think if you keep resorting to calling people out, you just might lose your opportunity to show off your stuff to any company like that. Your persistent ****talking has transformed the whole "fun-challenge-showdown" thing, into a seemingly negative ordeal. I guess if you keep it up, your only opportunity will be to organize a stock full race campaign to get your shot. At least then you will have a chance to earn your credibilty.

All of the posturing aside, it's a little silly to call out Lorenz for "copying"... Neither of your products are partictularly revolutionary or worthy of a copyright.



What I see is that KORE is focused on branding, bling and quality. Nobody argues that your product isn't quality, just that they don't like paying for a name or unnessecary bling. Options are limited to the bundle kits, not much room to buy a little as you go or upgrade. You're losing sales in the budget market.



Lorenz, on the other hand, has not paid as much attention to branding, and has focused more on value than on execution. He's losing sales in the bling market, and the perfectionist market.



I'm really tired of all the race-market propaganda. They're freakin' 7000lb trucks, most of us are TOWING our race gear behind us!

Right now it looks like we will have at least 3 video cameras filming the action. Let me see if i understand this..... From a 3rd party perspective, I am Greg Boardman, My options for this weekend are as follows: I can go to Glamis and spank a no name, Who has no pedigree and no credibility in the off road comunity in a sand box. Or i can co-drive in the Parker 425. Getting my *** kicked in a brutal off road race. Um... ... ..... Hmn... ... ... . tough decision... ... ... ..... soo close i guess i should flip a coin... ... Greg is the kind of guy that would rather go to an *** whooping and see how he does, learning along the way, versus kicking some *** on a copycat, puffing out his chest in victory and learning nothing. It is unfortunate that he had to bow-out short notice. But given the options he has, it doesn't take a brain surgeon to make the decision he made. He is building a sucessful business not his ego.



Get a grip Sean and look a the big picture. You are not big enough or enough of a concern to matter to Greg or Kore for that matter.



Yes i have Kore products on my truck. I want the best and I deserve it. You only get one time on this earth. To allow yourself to compromise with a copy of the real thing is to allow yourself less than one deserves.



Isn't that why we all bought Dodge cummins trucks to begin with?

I think the only thing Sean is guilty of copying is the idea of offering us another choice of suspension for our trucks. While he may, or may not be going about the right way of proving it, he's obviously very confident in his product. Maybe it's just frustration from not being able to get "Kore people" to lower their nose and take an unbiased look.

If you have spent any time with the Kore people as i have you would not make a statement like that. Their nose is not in the air but down to the grindstone plugging ahead full steam. I am sure Sean is frusturated because the Kore people have seen his product and got nothing out of it

Their is no doubt in my mind that if Greg didn't have the opportunity to race this weekend he would be there. Sean should consider it his lucky day that he get's to live another day. However Bob4X4 should not have any problem with the spanking/demonstration.



Hey sean, I hear their are still a few openings left for entrance to the Baja 500. That is a good way to demonstrate the quality of the products you have to offer. I will even start a fund to help you come up with the entrance fee.
