New Bike Dilemma

Kubota makes a front mount commercial mower, their F-series. Do any of you have experience owning or operating these mowers? If so, what are your opinions of these machines?

Dad bought a used one a few years back, with a rear bagger. Darned rugged machine. Expensive machines but well worth it, IMHO. I mowed the farm yard with it a couple of times, and I didn't even need to get out the push mower for trimming.

When I get around to buying a house, I'll seriously consider one of those with a snowblower.

I had a g-1800 that was a very good machine. Steering was well worn but it started and ran good. It had more than enough power to slip the belt if in wet/tall grass.

We traded it for a Ferris. It is nice, rides better but I miss the Kubota. It would run all season on less than two tanks of diesel. The ferris is new this year.

The Ferris is a zero turn? Did you choose Ferris because of the suspension?

Yes, the Ferris was chosen for it's ride.

I have had several spine surgeries and want to delay the next one.

I prefer the steering wheel to the two hand steering-sticks.

The two mowers are comparable in mowing capacities.

The model I bought has 4 wheel suspention.
