Dog Owners...

Just wanted to let everybody in the Coos Bay OR area about a couple of good shops there. The Les Schwab shop on Broadway in North Bend did me two favors repairing a tire FREE (that I did not buy from them) and then replacing the valve on one FREE after it blew off. Another good shop is Tom and Gig's shop on Schoneman in Coos Bay. Good shop with fair prices. Nice to find a good shop when you are a complete stranger traveling through.

Thanks but actually it's a state secret that we go out of our way to help foreigners so that they can leave our state faster. :D

Orygun, a nice place to visit but don't plan to stay. :-laf

Schwabbys is a really good tire shop based out of Oregon, all the one's I have used have been very helpful.

And some even have really nice eye candy counter helpers. :--) I stopped into one last year in Medford to ask directions and I couldn't believe I was really in a tire store. :D

Les Schwab will always take care of you like that. Back when I was still a pup, I blew out one of my dad's new tires crossing a log. Blew it out. No repair possible. He was angry, until I told him Les Schwab replaced the tire for free. They rule. I don't care how much their tires cost. I'll always get my tires from them. It's hard to beat a company who comes running with great service.

Got that right!! Service comes pretty dear any more, good service is worth it's weight in gold! In our travels around the country, we are retired and full timing it in a fiver, it really shows up when you find somebody that still knows what service is and I wanted to make sure I made some noise about a good shop.

I used to buy all my tires at Costco on my ricer commuter cars because of pricing, but a few years back I needed tires for my "fire-breathing 6. 9 Ford" and went to Les Schwab.

Got the greatest service and a pretty good price and have never gone back to Costco, they did a free flat repair on a non-Schwab tire for me, also the same for my sister, they will always have my business.

I remember them doing me right when I needed and alignment/new front bearings/shocks and tires for my first truck. Fast excellent service. I have my dad talking to them to see if they can find me some 35'' toyo's :p
